Birding by Boat is a unique way of exploring the birds of Charleston.

Come enjoy a unique birding experience.

Discover hidden gems and iconic landmarks, such as the Explorer, Charlestowne Landing’s “pirate ship”. We will tour the Charleston Harbor and the surrounding tidal creeks.

On your private charter, observe the birds of Charleston from a 20-foot center console. We usually see many birds, including herons, egrets, sandpipers, and plovers. We will likely see birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, and ospreys.

Immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes and connect with nature. The historic Charleston Harbor offers views of the Castle Pinckney, the Battery, and the USS Yorktown CV-10.
We took this tour in the fall and we are so glad we did! Adam took us out on the water early, when the sun was coming up; it was so incredible to see the birds wake up with the sunrise as the fog was lifting off the water.

We went out with Captain Adam on our first visit to Charleston. He was very knowledgeable about tides and the best time to see some birds in the sandbars. He met us on time and the boat was very comfortable
